The iClear 30s is one of the top-selling clearomizers in the e-cig market, but just like any device, it requires some TLC and maintenance to keep you in the vaping game.  Here are some of the basic things you need to know about maintaining your iClear 30s.

Atomizers, Cartomizers and Clearomizers

Every e-cigarette has three distinct parts: atomizers, cartomizers, and clearomizers.  The atomizer, in conjunction with a tank, heats the liquid to create the vapor.  This tank could be a cartomizer that holds up to several milliliters of nicotine juice.  The cartomizer uses a filtration system similar to a traditional cigarette to filter the nicotine juice.

Clearomizers are clear tanks that use a coil system to deliver the nicotine juice to the atomizer. With the iClear 30s coil, available in either single or dual styles, this provides an even and consistent supply of the nicotine juice to the atomizer for a very uniform flavor experience.
Cleaning

Washing

The key to keeping your iClear 30s coil replacement clearomizer in great shape is to replace the coil. However, in addition to replacing the coil you should also wash and clean each and every component to prevent contamination or cross transfer of the different flavors that may not be enjoyable.

You can take apart the iClear 30s coil clearomizer just by using your fingers. Clean each part with warm water. If you are finding that you taste unpleasant combinations of flavors, use a small amount of lemon juice or a bit of baking soda mixed with warm water.

Dry Burning

It is possible to clean the coil using a process known as dry burning. This will allow the residue to burn off the coils simply by heating for two or three seconds, repeatedly heating and cooling, until you can see they are glowing orange and have no remaining residue.

The average life of your coil is several weeks with proper care, e-cigarette usage, and quality of your nicotine juice.
If, after several attempts at washing and dry burning the coil still has residue, you may have to purchase a replacement.
