Personally, I would have thought that people interested in leasing or purchasing Condos Near Las Vegas Strip would be something of a rarity. Should you work in Las Vegas; but outside of the gaming, entertainment and tourism industries; surely you are going to want to make your home somewhere quieter than the area close to the Strip. However; those actually wanting to live as close as possible to the Vegas “action” would want to be actually on the Strip and not merely somewhere nearby to it.
The Las Vegas Strip
This in itself is a bit of a misnomer since the Strip is not actually located in Las Vegas city limits. So, for Condos Near Las Vegas Strip; Las Vegas City itself might be a good place to look.
The Strip is a stretch of the Las Vegas Boulevard that leaves the City at Sahara Avenue; where it gets its unofficial name of the Las Vegas Strip. The Strip is some 4 miles long and actually located in the satellite towns of Paradise and Winchester; it is the part of Vegas that we are most familiar with for its hotels, casinos and resorts. For obvious reasons, most tourists will want to stay on the Strip; however, such is the wealth of room options available; few tourists are ever going to consider purchasing Condos Near Las Vegas Strip or even right in the middle of it. However; the Strip generates a huge number of permanent jobs and many of the people who work on the Strip will be working shift work often through the night. For these people; a condo that is right on the Strip could be a blessing.
The CityCenter Development
This recently completed project is reported to have been the largest, privately funded project undertaken to date anywhere in the US. It contains new hotels, resorts, a shopping mall and some 2,400 condominium type units; many of which are situated in a unique “leaning” twin tower block of 37 stories height. The whole complex covers some 76 acres which were originally a hotel and casino, some parking lots and a few standalone commercial structures. It is bordered by Bellagio Casino & Hotel; the Monte Carlo Resort; the Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino; and Las Vegas Boulevard itself. The condos at CityCenter are not near the Strip; they are actually part of the Strip.
