What are Industrial Gear Oils?

These oils have high oxidation resistance, which helps to keep the metal surfaces they come into contact with from developing corrosion and rust. They also have good thermal stability, a low foaming tendency, and a high level of reusability.
Different Types of This Oil
Two common types are 220 gear oil and 320 gear oil. The former is a type of synthetic oil that leads to minimal friction and increased energy savings. It is often used in steel mills, wind turbines, and the chemical process industry. The latter is designed for operations in harsh environments, providing superior wear protection and oxidation resistance. It is often used in the mining, cement, and steel industries. It can also be used to repair misaligned, worn, or damaged transmissions.
