While texting is a convenient method of getting in touch fast, sometimes nothing can beat meeting up in person or taking the effort to make a phone call. You must also keep in mind that not all clients like to text message. They much prefer personalized services that cater to their needs.

A text is incredibly impersonal if you are trying to impress a client and land a sale. In most cases converting a prospective lead to a paying customer requires that extra bit of effort. Clients want to know that you actually want their business, and a text message will simply not do in this instance. You must be willing to go the extra mile to show them why your products or services are the best, and why they need them. If you simply send a text like many other companies or sales representatives do, then you will probably never get a response. They need to see that you really want their business. If you make them feel like their business will be appreciated, then they will be more apt to make a purchase. All it takes is a little consideration and the ability to show them that you are on their side.
